It seems weird that I've made no (public) posts in my journal - although I have a couple of stories I was working on that are private. Therefore, I am making this one even though it has very little purpose.

Um. I guess I shall talk about myself, then.

My name is Jamie, although I really like the idea of going by Jay. I'm not sure that one is allowed to pick one's own nickname though, haha.

I'm currently 15 years old and I just finished 11th grade - only one more year of highschool and then I'm done! No, that's not a typo, I am 15 and about to go to twelfth grade. It's a bit of a long story that I'm tired of explaining (everytime classmates discover my age there's at least one who hasn't heard it and goes =o YOU'RE HOW OLD? But how does THAT work??), but basically I was put up a year. It doesn't really make that much of a difference, besides that everyone else is getting their driver's licences while I'm not even old enough to get my permit, boo.

I live in Newfoundland, Canada, although I'm hoping to fix that situation in a year or so - I'm definitely going to go out of province for university.

I've kind of been questioning a lot of stuff lately, which can explain some of the comms I've been joining... I haven't gathered up the nerve to put my feelings into words and post in one yet, though. I need some kind of shove, I think, but the problem is that I haven't really been talking about it to anyone... so there's no one to administer it!

... My style of writing varies between "extremely stiff and formal" and "very loose and free-think-like with the occasional scattering of bad grammar" just to warn my imaginary readers. =)

Hopefully I'll actually have something worth writing about soon, or maybe finish up some writing!

Jamie
